1 • Beef or Chicken or Peanut Butter

1 • Cook the meat until it turns brown.
2 • Heat little oil in a saucepan and in it, boil onions, tomatoes and add other spices (Place aside) 3 • Heat the banana leaves with low heat such that they become brittle (First remove the mid ribs of the leaves) 4 • Fold the banana leaves without any cracks and place the meat, chicken or groundnuts (What ever you are preparing) inside. Add other spices plus the tomatoes and onions boiled earlier. 5 • Hold together the banana leaves and tie on top and place aside. 6 • If you are to serve Luwombo with bananas Place the bananas with more banana leaves below the saucepan 7 • Place your pack on top of the bananas and cover with more banana leaves and heat until it is ready.-Remove the Luwombo pack and smash the bananas 8 • Remove and serve when hot. |
